Bismarckia nobilis is a large fan palm from Madagascar which can be either silver or green. They can grow up to 20 ft wide and 30 feet tall so they need plenty of space. They are used either as an accent plant or on very large estates they can be used to line a driveway or to accent a property line or other feature. They are drought tolerant and grow in the direct sun but they thrive with adequate watering and fertilizing twice per year.
