Roystonea regia are appropriate only for the grandest of estates. Our trees start at 30 ft tall and go up to 50 ft or more. They have traditionally been used to line the driveways of large Hawaiian estates and are self cleaning and wind resistant. Trees of this size are very difficult to transport and the costs of moving them is higher than most palms. However, they can be moved with the proper equipment. They are somewhat drought tolerant but need watering in permanently dry conditions. One of our favorite trees.
